Patent Information Centre

 

J & K State Council for Science & Technology , Department of Science & Technology in collaboration with Technology Information, Forecasting Assessment Cell ( TIFAC), Department of Science & Technology, G.O.I is establishing Patent Information Centre ( PIC ) in Srinagar office for which funds have been provided by the TIFAC ( which includes infrastructure facilities like computer system, patent software etc). For running the centre, a JRF is to be engaged on contractual basis  who has to maintain the centre and provide information/consultancy  regarding the patents. The purpose of the Centre is to create knowledge about patents among the scientific community in particular and masses in general. The process for making the centre functional at Srinagar is on.
