The Science & Technology Council has set up Human Genetic Counseling and Research Centres. First of its kind in the State at Government Medical College, Jammu/University of Jammu and SKIMS, Srinagar. The centres are actively involved in identification/counseling of various genetic disorders of the patients suffering from such diseases
